Recently, the State Administration for Market Regulation and the National Standardization Administration issued an announcement, approving the issuance of 586 recommended national standards and 2 national standard amendments, including the new national standard GB/T 22517.6—2020 "Technical requirements and test methods for sports field - Part 6: Track and fields". This standard will be implemented on January 1, 2021, replacing the original national standard GB/T 22517.6-2011.

1.png2.pngGB/T 22517.6-2020 "Technical requirements and test methods for sports field - Part 6: Track and fields" specifies the requirements for the use of outdoor synthetic surface for track and fields, inspection methods and qualification rules. Suitable for water-permeable and non-permeable on-site pouring paving and prefabricated paving competition, training, teaching and public fitness using outdoor synthetic surface track and field venues.

The current standard focuses on three aspects: the technical requirements of the site, the specification marking of the standard site, and the site testing methods.

1) Increase the requirements for the types and limits of hazardous substances in semi-finished products and finished products.

2) Increase the requirements for the use of chemical additives in the on-site laying process.

In series of standards of our country's sports industry, there is a lack of relevant requirements for the limit of harmful substances in the materials used in the construction process. If the materials used in the paving process meet the standard requirements, then the finished product itself does not need to set another standard.

This revision of the standard focuses on increasing the limit of hazardous substances in the semi-finished products of the rubber surface and the requirements for the use of chemical additives in the laying process, so as to solve the problem of the limit of hazardous substances in the rubber surface from the source.

3) Increase the calculation and measurement of track and field.

Because the original standard only gave the specification marking requirements for 400m standard track and field venues, and lacked marking and measurement requirements for venues with different radii and perimeters, this revision plan adds requirements for the specification marking calculations for non-standard venues, and adds the operability.
